JESUS PAID IT ALL....LYRICS

I read two verses of this old Hymn tonight I never saw before, from references by T Austin-Sparks and H. A.Ironside...They are BELOW in italics.... So very Powerful. Couldn't find anywhere through Google..will research again. ENJOY...km


I hear the Savior say,
“Thy strength indeed is small;
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all.”

Refrain:
Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.

For nothing good have I
Whereby Thy grace to claim;
I’ll wash my garments white
In the blood of Calv’ry’s Lamb.

I hear the accuser roar
of ills that I have done
I know them all and thousands more
Jehovah findeth none

Thought the rentless foe accuses
Sins recounting like a flood
Every charge our God refuses
Christ has answered with His blood


And now complete in Him,
My robe, His righteousness,
Close sheltered ’neath His side,

Lord, now indeed I find
Thy pow’r, and Thine alone,

When from my dying bed

“Jesus died my soul to save,”

And when before the throne

I’ll lay my trophies down,
All down at Jesus’ feet.

What other people do is none of my business but for years I’ve been wrestling with some of the trends and level of politics and patriotism within the church. . But this article speaks my language it resonates with my spirit and shares my concerns. So for now, all Is at rest and Jesus He’s The only answer. Maybe someone out there feels the same way I do. I hope this post finds you and this article encourages your heart like it did mine. You aren’t crazy  Pray 🙏 That’s why you see it the way you do.

Psalm 32:8 I remember many years ago when The TV show American Idol began. One of the finalists shared kind of an awkward song well it just sort of seemed out of place. It was unfamiliar , extremely personal, beautiful, but it really fell flat. He even sang it like he was sort of alone in the room and we were all just watching his personal  moment. It left me just sitting there scratching my head. When  he finished it was then time for the judges to give their input. Simon Cowell really shockingly scolded him and said that his choice of music was “self-indulgent. “ What does he mean by that ? I thought about it Took me a while I think I know what he meant and I never forgot it. He forgot who he was singing to he forgot he had an audience.
