What other people do is none of my business but for years I’ve been wrestling with some of the trends and level of politics and patriotism within the church. . But this article speaks my language it resonates with my spirit and shares my concerns. So for now, all Is at rest and Jesus He’s The only answer. Maybe someone out there feels the same way I do. Walked into an office this morning playing over the speakers was the 60’s classic song , Bridge over Troubled Water, by Simon and Garfunkel. Love it. Just in time for the last half ending that crescendos n swells beautifully. Common song, heard it a gazillion times but this time I Sat quietly and really listened. Reminded again how Christ through his redemption on Calvary paid the ultimate price and was Himself the bridge who laid Himself down so I can be at peace with God. I have all access to the throne of grace because of the blood of the Lamb shed for me. It takes time to observe How people react when they’re under pressure , how they deal with their anger, how they speak to people, how they talk about people. How they speak about the Lord. What do they do with their time and their money. What is the substantive character of that individual?
